Holy Basil or Tulsi plant

Ocimum tenuiflorum (synonym Ocimum sanctum), commonly known as holy basil, tulasi or tulsi, is an aromatic perennial plant in the family Lamiaceae. It is native to the Indian subcontinent and widespread as a cultivated plant throughout the Southeast Asian tropics.

Many things are beneficial for health. In this case, these include basil leaves. Let us tell you that Tusli increase T cytokines, production of immune cells like NK (nature killer) cells and T lymphocytes against infection.

In such a situation, Tulsi contains immune-modulatory elements, due to which it is also helpful in strengthening the immunity system. Let us also tell you that due to its antioxidant and antiinflammatory properties, it also helps in reducing fever and in the treatment of cold and cough. In such a situation, today we are going to tell you about the benefits of basil to health.

Tulsi Tea –

Put a few basil leaves in a cup of hot water and boil for at least ten minutes.
And to get relief from fever, malaria and dengue fever, drink it twice a day. You are likely to benefit greatly by doing so.

Basil milk –

If you have a high fever, drink basil leaves in milk. To do this, put basil leaves and cardamom powder in half a liter of water and boil it. Now mix milk and sugar and drink it. If you do this then your high fever may come down.

Basil juice –

To reduce body temperature, you should start drinking juice of basil leaves. Actually it is more effective for children. With this, take out the juice by mixing 10-15 leaves in a little water and drink it with cold water every two to three hours, you will benefit from doing so.
